Positive: The riad was beautiful, clean, large, comfortable, in a great location, and staffed by very friendly, helpful people. Our room was really big as was the bathroom (make sure you get a room with a toilet if that's a necessity for you). It was probably the size of a NYC studio apartment. The interior was well decorated and architecturally beautiful. We enjoyed drinks on the terrace in the evening. It was cool and pleasant. Breakfast was delicious. The Medina in Rabat is a delightful location.

Negative: Nothing. Be mindful that you must walk from the main roads through the Medina with your luggage to get to the riad. It was about a 400m (1/4 mile) walk.

Summary: Beautiful. Friendly. Comfortable. Great!

Positive: Full of charm. Plenty of space for a large family. The suites were beautifully decorated, like something out of One Thousand and One Nights. The pool was wonderful and the view from the rooftop terrace breathtaking.

Negative: A bit too expensive. We had cancelled a room but still had to pay for it. The top floor room was swarming with ants. There were eight of us, and one place setting for breakfast was missing. No one came to the table to ask if I want to eat or drink coffee I didn't. I had to chase after them to get anything at all for breakfast. I stayed a lot of Riads but this was a bit strange.

Positive: Experience of Medina was beautiful! Quaint walk with the Pathways to get to location and once you are there it amazing for location and experience of true ethnic Rabat. Absolutely stay and experience the dinner, AMAZING!

Negative: Beds slightly more comfortable. Outdoor by pool could have been better taken care of.

Summary: Loved the experience of location! Meals we're amazing! Don't expect a hotel bed.
